OUR PROCESS

FRP Accessories USA belongs to a space that demands attention to detail and great care from the start of a project to its end. It is for this reason that we follow a painstaking though ultimately rewarding process with diligence. Every step of the process we’re about to take you through contributes to ensuring a final product that is flawless & has longevity.

Process Flow

01

Conceptual Drawings

Every Fiberglass Accessories undertaking begins with a careful concept: a rough sketch of the very seed of the idea that is at the core of the project. Our conceptual drawings are crucial because they mark the beginning of each of our grand creations. This is also the reason why they’re worked on by our skilled sompuras and sthapatis.

02

3d Drawings

This is where our understanding and brilliance in the use of modern technology come into play. Our fiberglass & GFRC architectural product ideas are given life through 3D renderings of them. In other words, our 3D drawings are life-like representations of what the ultimate products will look like, be it Shikhars, Vimanams, Domes, Raja Gopurams, Samrans, Kangri, Chhajja, Columns, Window Decorations & Exterior Wall Decorations

03

Production

We then begin the major process of manufacturing the parts that will comprise the final product. This is where the expertise of our sonpuras and sthapati shines as each part is formed with excellence and grandeur in mind. Each item is produced keeping in mind the nitty-gritty involved based on the material used, i.e. whether the product is Fiberglass or a GFRC-based one.

04

Assembly and Installation

This is the stage in which it all comes together. FRP Accessories USA provides guidance, assistance, and support during the entire assembly and installation process, right from delivery to site to the final step in installation. This is also the final stage of the actual construction of each project.

05

FINAL TOUCHES

Finally, every detail is inspected, and minute adjustments are made to ensure that the final outcome is exactly the same as its 3D rendering. What was envisioned is what is delivered.
This is the FRP Accessories approach to crafting some of the finest work in fiberglass and GFRC religious architecture.

Exquisitely Crafted Fiberglass and GFRC Creations

Our team understands that beautiful structures need to be durable as well. This is why we work with Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester (FRP) and can even craft GlassFiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) products. Both substances ensure increased versatility, greater durability, and lesser maintenance.

Here’s a better understanding of Fiberglass and GFRC:

Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester (FRP)

Fiber Reinforced Polyester (FRP) is a composite material manufactured from glassfiber and resins (Polymer Matrix). In a most general sense of the word, resin is a binder and glassfiber is reinforcement, which adds strength to the overall composite material.

Why FRP?

  • FRP is strong and most resistive to deforming forces
  • Its strength-to-weight ratio is very high when compared to conventional material
  • It is very light weight product, which reduces installation as well as transportation costs. It also makes it comparatively easier to handle
  • It has excellent resistance to corrosion
  • FRP product needs less maintenance and is easily repairable, making it very economical
  • FRP also offers greater design freedom, enabling the creation of complex shapes
  • FRP is water resistant and suitable to use in varied weather conditions

Applications:

Use of FRP has been continuously increasing in the industry because of its advantages over conventional materials. Industries like Wind Energy, Building & Construction, Marine, Aerospace, Automobile, Railways, Chemical, Telecommunication, etc. use FRP products for various applications.

GlassFiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC)

Glassfiber reinforced concrete, or GFRC, is nothing but a concrete material that utilizes glass fibers for reinforcement and other polymers cast in thin portions. Alkali-resistant glass fibers are used in the process, thereby providing greater resistance to environmental effects.

Why GFRC?

  • GFRC is an extremely durable material.
  • It allows concrete to be cast in thinner forms, thereby helping in weight reduction, which is not the case with precast concrete.
  • No additional reinforcement is required since GFRC products are internally reinforced.
  • Products of high strength can be obtained through the use of GFRC.
  • GFRC is fire-resistant.
  • It also allows a significant amount of design freedom since it can be molded into almost any shape.
  • A variety of creative, smooth, and textured types of finish can be achieved using GFRC.
  • GFRC products are easy to install and require very little maintenance, making them convenient and more efficient to work with.

Given all of its outstanding properties, it’s no wonder that GFRC has numerous uses in various architectural projects.
